1 Year!

1 Year Blog-01

I can’t believe it but it has been a whole year since I posted my very first blog post!

I just wanted to post this to say a big thank you to all of you because if it wasn’t for your support who knows if I would have kept posting. You guys are all amazing with really amazing blogs.

Since ive been posting for a year I thought It would be a great experience to go back and look at my top 5 favourite posts so far .

  1. The very first post: Pokémon Cake

This was when the Pokémon game had been released and my sister and I were just so obsessed with it. Pokémon for the Gameboy was our childhood, any long journeys and that’s what we would be doing. So of course the first two blogs we made had to be Pokémon themed which is why we made the cake and biscuits. It was so much fun making it and at the time I never knew how many posts would follow it.

  1. String art #1

This one took a lot of patience and a lot of time. I just remember seeing this all over pinterest and knowing that I had to try it. I loved how colourful it was and how much it stood out, to this day it is still hanging up on my wall! I enjoyed making this one so much that I made a second one of a paw print

  1. Gluten Free Cookie based Chocolate and strawberry tart:

This one was another made by both my sister and myself and to this day it has been a favourite of everyone in my house. This was a more time consuming bake but it was 100% worth it, I really need to make this again.

  1. Making a dragon part 1 and part 2 :

Making this dragon was the best few weeks, It gave me something to focus on and actually made me feel like I was back at college with a deadline to meet. I know that doesn’t sound like a good thing but when you’ve been away from it a while it makes you feel better doing a project like this. But I really loved how this turned out and I am still so proud of this.

  1. Gluten free Lemon Drizzle Cake :

This cake definitely has to be up in the top 5. My sister liked this cake so much that she asked me to make one for her to take to her friends when she was visiting them. It was also one of my favourites too because it wasn’t as heavy feeling as a normal sponge cake would be. It was super light and fluffy, and honestly I just love lemon a lot so it can’t really get much better than that. This is a definite need to bake again too.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and again i just want to say thank you all for your support over the year.
